We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Port Captain to join our team at TopView Sightseeing. As a Port Captain, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our vessels in New York Harbor.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate vessels in all sea and weather conditions, ensuring the safety of passengers and crew.
- Conduct pre-cruise checks and meetings to ensure all necessary information is communicated to the crew.
- Create and implement training manuals and SOPs to maintain a safe work environment.
- Ensure adherence to Coast Guard rules and regulations, as well as other federal and local rules and regulations.
- Manage crew scheduling and payroll.
- 100-ton USCG masters license.
- At least 10 years of US Coast Guard experience, with 2-5 years of experience operating passenger vessels in NY Harbor.
- First aid and CPR certification.
- TWIC and MROP permits.
