Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:


Execute precise transaction processing and activity oversight in the domains of collateral management, settlement, and securities lending, adhering to OCC regulations, policies, and procedures.

Engage with clearing members, financial institutions, and exchanges on a daily basis to enhance the efficiency of collateral processing, settlement, and securities lending operations. Conduct audits related to departmental functions and support management in addressing requests from internal and external audit bodies. Contribute to the drafting and evaluation of OCC policies and procedures. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members within Collateral Services.

Essential Duties:
To succeed in this role, an individual must be capable of fulfilling each primary duty effectively.

Accurately oversee and process collateral, settlement, and securities lending activities utilizing OCC's proprietary systems (such as Encore), various external banking systems, and other depository platforms.

Examine collateral, settlement, and securities lending data by leveraging both internal and external systems; present findings in a professional and insightful manner to management and external stakeholders.

Engage daily with internal and external participants (including but not limited to colleagues, departments, clearing members, banks, and exchanges) by addressing inquiries and resolving issues.

Review relevant regulations, agreements, policies, and procedures while performing scheduled audits to ensure the integrity of collateral.

Assist in the formulation and upkeep of OCC policies, Collateral Services procedures, and training materials through writing, updating, and reviewing.

Comply with OCC's policies, procedures, and regulations.
Support various ad-hoc and corporate initiatives as directed by management.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
