Safety and Health Responsibilities

Production Duties
Tasks: Determine the appropriate wheat blend for milling, adhere to production guidelines for wheat tempering, oversee cleaning processes to reduce wheat loss, and manage moisture levels for optimal milling performance.
Goal: Ensure the milling process utilizes the correct wheat mix and meets production timelines.
Quality Assurance
Tasks: Collect samples of raw wheat; adjust wheat blends as necessary; modify tempering water levels; oversee ingredient feeder settings.
Goal: Deliver a safe food product that aligns with customer specifications.
Maintenance and Repair
Tasks: Engage in mill and cleaning house maintenance, including roll replacements, sifter repairs, and preventive maintenance tasks as directed by supervisory staff.
Goal: Enhance cleaning house efficiency and reduce unexpected downtimes.
Security Measures
Tasks: Supervise visitor access and conduct perimeter checks as needed.
Goal: Ensure the highest level of security is maintained.
Food Safety Protocols
Tasks: Oversee cleaning house feed stations; perform routine checks; document maintenance on equipment. Adhere to all food safety procedures while following cleaning schedules.
Goal: Guarantee product quality through established processes.
Sanitation Standards
Tasks: Implement and follow sanitation protocols across all operational areas.
Goal: Uphold necessary cleanliness standards.
