**About the Role:**
The LPN is responsible for assisting the Registered Nurse (RN) in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. You will be accountable for all patients assigned to you, according to established policies and procedures of Avera St Mary's Hospital and the scope of practice of the licensed practical nurse.
**Responsibilities:**
* Participate in educational opportunities and updates to maintain current professional clinical competency
* Complete an approved Hemodialysis treatment course
* Graduate from an approved licensed practical school of nursing with current practical nursing licensure in the State of South Dakota
* ACLS certification is highly recommended
* Basic Life Support (BLS) is required for all patient care staff
**Work Schedule:**
* Day shifts; 80 hours every 2 weeks
* 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
**Pay:**
The hourly range for this position is $25.25 - $36.50 per hour, dependent on experience.
