We are seeking an experienced Home Improvement Contractor to join our team at Handyman Connection of Matthews, NC. As a contractor with our company, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of home improvement projects, from carpentry to painting and handyman services.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multiple areas of home repair, maintenance, and remodeling. They must have basic construction skills, be organized, and effectively communicate with others with a positive attitude.

We offer a competitive salary of $40-$60 per hour, depending on your skills and availability. Our team provides professional office support, scheduling, customer support, and job tracking.

Responsibilities:

  • Work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality results
  • Have expertise in general carpentry, bathroom upgrades, kitchen refresh/remodel, painting, drywall repair/patching/caulking, minor plumbing/electrical knowledge, and flooring repair/installation
  • Provide great customer service and client relations
  • Manage materials and tools effectively
Requirements
  • Must have a current Driver's License and Insurance
  • Must have tools, work vehicle, and good references
  • Must have experience in the remodeling or home repair trades
  • Independent Contractors must carry liability insurance and workers comp
  • Must pass screening process which includes a background check
