Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Critical Care Nurse to join our team in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at First Connect. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the PACU, prioritizing their needs and responding promptly to emergencies.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, laboratory results, and other critical data, using clinical judgment to identify potential complications and take corrective action.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records, documenting all aspects of patient care and treatment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Critical Care Nurse in a large PACU setting.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in New Mexico or a compact state.
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association.
  • EPIC EMR experience preferred, with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $110,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including:
