Position Overview

  • Recruit and cultivate a diverse team of Sales Associates.
  • Educate and mentor team members on company policies, procedures, and their respective roles.
  • Engage customers proactively to foster enduring relationships.
  • Promote tile and related merchandise to surpass customer expectations.
  • Acquire and apply knowledge of all store and warehouse operations.
  • Set a standard for achieving sales targets through exemplary leadership.
  • Understand the installation process and products to inform customers effectively.
  • Monitor and track established sales objectives.
  • Update customers regarding the status of product deliveries.
  • Uphold professional standards to maintain The Tile Shop's reputation.
  • Create work schedules for Associates and Warehouse Staff.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Adhere to sound business practices consistently.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
  • Expected first-year earnings range from $50,000 to $70,000 at target

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in retail management.
  • Prior sales experience is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and inspire a sales team.
  • Strong work ethic with a commitment to exceeding expectations.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, commission-based sales environment.
  • Willingness to learn and grow both independently and through feedback.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude and infectious enthusiasm.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Design sensibility: ability to combine various styles, colors, and textures.
  • Basic math and computer proficiency.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Experience in a related field is preferred
