Speech Therapist Opportunity at Coastal Rehabilitation

About the Position
The Speech Therapist will play a vital role in the rehabilitation process at Coastal Rehabilitation. This dynamic professional will evaluate and treat patients, communicate with families and healthcare teams, and maintain accurate documentation. The ideal candidate will also conduct in-services and training for staff members to enhance their skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop effective treatment plans with physician approval
- Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants and Rehab Aides in patient care and related activities
- Participate in Facility Performance Improvement programs
- Coordinate with department members, physicians, and staff within the Rehab department
- Ensure appropriate rehab staffing levels through daily coordination

Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Current license to practice required
  • 2+ years of experience as a Therapist preferred
  • Reliable transportation required
