Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Physician (MD/DO) - Geriatric Psychiatry Specialist to join our team in Holyoke, MA. As a Geriatric Psychiatry Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in an inpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete admissions and discharges for patients with geriatric psychiatric conditions
- Conduct daily notes on caseload and participate in family meetings or agency meetings
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with anxiety, affective, ADD/ADHD, personality, psychotic, and organic disorders
- Familiarity with involuntary commitments, seclusion therapy, and restraint application
- Participate in group therapy, family therapy, and ECT treatment techniques
Requirements:
- Board certification in Psychiatry
- Experience in geriatric psychiatry
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR system
- Ability to work in a fast-paced inpatient setting
