Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team at Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy in Plainfield, IN. As a Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of prescriptions, while providing exceptional patient care and support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform visual verification of prescriptions to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Manage patient medication therapy and service coordination to ensure responsible provision of drug therapy
  • Troubleshoot prescriptions to correct legal, clinical, financial, and physical filling issues
  • Provide direction and guidance to pharmacy technicians to ensure proper management of pharmaceutical equipment and inventory
  • Maintain and track medication inventory to ensure stock rotation and shrinkage control
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, or Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency (National Association of Boards of Pharmacy)
  • Current, unrestricted pharmacist license in state of practice
  • Availability to work 10-hour shifts (4pm - 2am)
  • Preference for a closed-door pharmacy setting (no adjudications or direct patient contact)
