Job Overview

This position involves overseeing the development and implementation of safety policies and procedures for our construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in occupational health and safety, construction management, or a related field, and have a proven track record of ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implementing effective safety protocols and procedures for all construction projects.
  • Conducting regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards.
  • Providing comprehensive safety training to construction personnel.
  • Investigating accidents and developing strategies to prevent future incidents.
  • Maintaining accurate records of safety inspections and incident reports.
  • Collaborating with project managers and site supervisors to address safety concerns.
  • Staying up-to-date on industry best practices and regulatory changes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction safety management.
  • Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.

Compensation

$80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
