Diagnostic CT Technologist

Corewell Health is seeking a skilled Diagnostic CT Technologist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Diagnostic CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of medical imaging.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic CT exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment, ensuring accurate and efficient results.
  • Verify patient identification and physician orders, providing procedural information and education to patients and families.
  • Acquire accurate patient histories and document in medical records, adhering to ALARA principles of radiation protection.
  • Operate CT imaging equipment, perform quality control and quality assurance testing, and ensure equipment is properly sanitized between patients.
  • Monitor patients during procedures, ensuring patient safety and STAT requests are relayed to radiologists in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiography program.
  • 1-3 years of clinical experience preferred.
  • Certification by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); must remain in good standing.
  • Additional CT certification required within 1 year of hire, with exceptions for technologists working in the CT modality before 2008.
