This is a challenging and rewarding full-time social work role within the Critical Care, Anesthesia, Perioperative, and Home Ventilation (CAPE) Program at Boston Children's Hospital. The program aims to deliver high-quality, coordinated care to improve the lives of children who require long-term ventilator assistance and their families.

The CAPE Clinical Social Worker will play a vital part in promoting patient-centered care by conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments, providing consultation and support to families, managing complex cases, and coordinating resources with community agencies, healthcare providers, and schools.

To succeed in this role, you must possess a Master's in Social Work, be licensed as an LICSW in Massachusetts, and have several years of experience working in a medical environment with chronic illness, preferably in a pediatric setting. You should also excel in fast-paced environments, demonstrate flexibility, and possess excellent communication skills.

Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly valued but not required. New hires are eligible for a competitive salary range of $95,000 - $110,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes flexible schedules, affordable health insurance, childcare subsidies, generous time off, 403(b) Retirement Savings plan, Pension, tuition reimbursement, cell phone discounts, and discounted T-pass rates.
