About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist II/CT Technologist to join our team at Dallas Medical Center, a 155-bed acute care hospital accredited by the Joint Commission. As a member of Prime Healthcare, we offer a wide range of medical services, including a 24/7 Emergency Room, diagnostic radiology, and laboratory.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiographic, CT scan, mammography, bone density, ultrasound, or special procedures according to department protocols.
  • Function as the first line interface with customers and ensure the accomplishment of their imaging needs.
  • Participate in PI/QC activities and assist in maintaining the Performance Improvement Program.
  • Oversee radiology area and/or staff in the manager's/director's absence.
  • Maintain department supplies and promote teamwork and good customer service.
  • Do scheduling for assigned sub-departments and maintain supplies and equipment for assigned sub-departments.
  • Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.
Requirements
  • Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by the state.
  • Appropriate national certifications in two modalities required.
  • Current BCLS (AHA).
  • Must be familiar with state and federal regulations.
  • One year of acute clinical radiography preferred.
  • Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT.
  • Proficient computer skills.
