Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join their team on a 13-week travel assignment in Machias, Maine.
Job DescriptionThis is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate therapist to make a positive impact in the lives of patients. As a Physical Therapist with Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy, you will be working in a dynamic environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other health team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Assess patients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans to address physical limitations and improve mobility.
- Administer medications as ordered and maintain accurate records of patient interactions.
- Monitor patients' progress and report outcomes to ensure timely interventions and adjustments to treatment plans.
- Share on-call responsibilities with colleagues to ensure seamless patient care during off-hours.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you should have:
- One to three years of experience as a Physical Therapist, with a strong background in assessment, treatment planning, and patient education.
- Certifications in relevant areas, such as orthopedics, pediatrics, or gerontology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to perform duties that require standing, walking, and lifting (up to 50-100lbs).
