Precision Machinist

Electroswitch is seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining dies, molds, fixtures, and assembly machines.

• Design and Development: Plan, construct, alter, and repair a variety of tools and parts to meet production requirements.
• Machining Operations: Perform precision machining operations and bench work to maintain precise fits and tolerances.
• Quality Control: Diagnose and correct issues in tool tryouts, and maintain accurate records of maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with suppliers to repair and design tools, and assist in prototype development and quality inspection.
• Work Environment: Maintain a clean and safe work area, and adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.

• Education and Experience: Equivalent to two years of college, plus at least five years of experience in tool and die making.
• Skills and Knowledge: Proficient in operating various shop equipment and measuring tools, with training in general safety, quality systems, and hazardous waste handling.
• Physical Demands: Ability to sit, stand, bend, and lift up to 60 lbs.
