CLINICAL NURSE SPECIALIST - LIFE BRIDGE HEALTH

Position Summary

As a vital member of the healthcare team, the Clinical Nurse Specialist is responsible for delivering safe and effective patient care tailored to various age groups. This role also serves as a consultant and resource for patients and their families, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of care processes.


Unit Details:

The unit consists of a 2-bed telemetry area, with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 4-5:1 during day shifts and 5-6:1 during night shifts, operating on a 12-hour shift schedule. Weekend shifts are required, with ACLS certification necessary after one year of employment (training provided).


Qualifications:

  • Formal education equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years of college)
  • Knowledge in a specialized field of nursing
  • Associate's degree or Diploma in Nursing
  • Less than 1 year of clinical experience
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Maryland
  • Certification in CPR from the American Heart Association
