Job Title: Technical Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to lead our Hardware Sustaining Engineering team at Beckman Coulter. As a key member of our Microbiology Business Unit, you will be responsible for managing complex projects involving external suppliers, procurement, manufacturing, product marketing, quality, regulatory, and service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead cross-functional teams to prioritize and manage the backlog of hardware sustaining engineering project funnel
  • Act as project manager on complex projects involving external suppliers, procurement, manufacturing, product marketing, quality, regulatory, and service
  • Manage budgets, schedules, resources, project risks, and key project deliverables
  • Provide regular updates to leadership team on health of funnel and status of projects
  • Lead simple re-design projects to stay connected to engineering background
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronics, or related engineering with preference for 9+ years of relevant experience OR Master's degree in field with preference for 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience in design, development, and sustaining of complex hardware instruments
  • Experience in managing projects in a regulated environment
  • Experience in projects where you have demonstrated critical business acumen
  • Experience in PCB schematic, layout, component selection, cabling, and assembly design
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Microbiology or Automated Diagnostic Product Development experience
  • Danaher Business System/Lean/Kaizen expertise
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP)
  • Experience working with internal and external R&D teams
  • Visual project management
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary range: $130,000-$155,000
