Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect metal parts for defects and irregularities
  • Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and indicators to measure parts
  • Operate optical comparators and profilometers to inspect parts
  • Use computer-aided measurement systems (CMM) to inspect parts
  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a quality control or inspection role
  • Proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments
  • Background in a job shop environment preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
