We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Specialist to join our team at Platinum Staffing Inc. As a Quality Control Specialist, you will be responsible for inspecting metal parts from CNC lathes and Swiss machines to ensure they meet our high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect metal parts for defects and irregularities
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and indicators to measure parts
- Operate optical comparators and profilometers to inspect parts
- Use computer-aided measurement systems (CMM) to inspect parts
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a quality control or inspection role
- Proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments
- Background in a job shop environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
