Chipton-Ross is seeking an experienced Avionic Technician for a contract role in the aviation sector.
Essential Qualifications:
- A minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in avionics, specifically with fighter aircraft, ideally F-16 models.
- Proven experience on the flight line is required.
Key Responsibilities:
The Avionics Technician will be responsible for a range of tasks including:
- Conducting various duties related to avionics, mechanical, electromechanical, and system checks to ensure aircraft readiness for delivery.
- Interpreting schematics, engineering drawings, and both written and verbal instructions.
- Operating necessary equipment, performing tests, and documenting results in the required format.
- Executing avionics testing, wire routing, and system checks on F-16 aircraft prior to their delivery, making necessary adjustments, modifications, and replacements as instructed, and preparing required compounds and solutions.
Educational Requirements:
- Must possess an accredited High School Diploma or GED.
Work Schedule:
- Full-Time position with a 4/10 work schedule.
- Flexibility to work either 1st or 2nd shift is essential, with start times at 5:30 AM or 4 PM, and 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM.
Additional Information:
Applicants for this position will undergo a government security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria, including the ability to access classified government information.
