Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance client experiences by delivering financial insights that facilitate growth and success.
  • Establish and uphold accounting principles, practices, and procedures to guarantee precise and timely financial reporting.
  • Manage multiple accounting tasks under tight deadlines, including general ledger upkeep, financial reporting, cash flow oversight, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
  • Lead and participate in the implementation or integration of accounting software solutions.
  • Engage in regular communication with senior executives and decision-makers regarding financial closures, challenges, and deliverables.
  • Mentor and oversee staff accountants in their daily operations.
  • Assist with corporate and business owner tax matters as necessary.
  • Direct the daily accounting functions for various clients and coordinate staff and accounts payable resources.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or a related field is required, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial reporting, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and period-end closures.
  • Proficiency in various accounting software applications, including QuickBooks Online, Netsuite, Sage Intacct, and MS Business Central (MS Dynamics 365), as well as advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, Vlookup, and other formulas).
