The Stamford Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Tech to join our team in our 20-bed Psychiatric unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide a safe and supportive environment for patients, implementing their care plans to achieve their therapeutic goals. Your responsibilities will include assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), de-escalation techniques, and patient rounds. This role may involve floating to our pediatric psych unit.

**Schedule:**
Day shift, 7:00am-8:00pm, 3 shifts per week, rotating weekends and holidays.

**Physical Demands:**
Some portions of daily assignments involve prolonged standing, transporting materials, equipment, patients, or lifting, moving, or carrying heavy loads (over 30 pounds) for intermittent periods throughout the day.

**Requirements:**

* Associate degree in a related field or at least one year of work experience in a related job
* BLS Certification required
* CPI Certification required
