We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Lourdes Noreen McKeen Residence. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Responsibilities:- Assist nursing personnel in providing basic care for residents, including bathing, skin care, toileting, grooming, oral hygiene, and dressing/undressing.
- Assist residents with meals, ensuring dietary orders are followed and using assistive devices as needed.
- Assist in turning, positioning, and transferring of residents, maintaining their safety and comfort.
- Perform basic restorative skills, such as range of motion and splint management.
- Use medical equipment safely and appropriately, including canes, crutches, walkers, Hoyer Lifts, side rails, braces, splints, and oxygen.
- Maintain knowledge of resident orthopedic precautions, medical limitations, cognitive deficits/impairments, and provide individualized care.
- Current and valid FL CNA certification.
- One year of CNA experience, with at least 6 months in Long-Term Care.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Able to work weekends and holidays.
- Able to speak, read, and write the English language.
