Early Childhood Speech-Language Pathologist

Soliant is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in providing speech therapy services to young students in early childhood programs. As a contract SLP, you will work with children aged 3 to 5 in various locations throughout the county, including preschool self-contained classrooms and daycare settings.
Responsibilities:- Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs
- Determine eligibility for speech services and work with an interdisciplinary team to determine appropriate goals
- Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for children with identified speech and language disorders
- Develop individualized education plans and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations
- Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns
- Maintain accurate records for all children on the caseload
- Provide reports of children's progress to parents
- Organize caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school or classroom
- Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development
- Master's degree in Speech Pathology or Communications Disorders
- Pennsylvania SLP license
- Education specialist certificate from the PA Department of Education (Clinical Fellows may be able to start work with a pending certificate)
