Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing business cases for new technology and processes, evaluating and testing new technology, and managing relationships with external vendors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience working with utility companies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop business cases for new technology and processes
  • Evaluate and test new technology, designs, and materials
  • Manage relationships with external vendors
  • Support field operations with equipment and material inspections
  • Direct the efforts of contractors and interns/coops as needed
  • Attend and participate in industry committees on materials, standards, and codes
  • Summarize and present status of work on a regular basis

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university
  • Two years of utility design experience, including analysis of electric data and application of technical standards
  • Valid Professional Engineering License in relevant field
