Job Title: Nondestructive Testing Professional

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing Level II radiographic inspections to inspect materials, components, and structures for defects or irregularities. This will include setting up and operating radiographic equipment in accordance with safety regulations and industry standards, while producing quality radiographs. The candidate will also be responsible for calculating, establishing, and controlling radiation area, adhering to quality control procedures and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment, interpreting radiographic images to identify and evaluate interactions of flaws and abnormalities, documenting test results, including writing reports and maintaining accurate records of inspections, collaborating with management to assure that testing procedures are meeting project requirements, managing long-term projects effectively and professionally by communicating with customer/client representatives and management to effectively meet established deadlines, participating in training programs to stay current on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in radiographic testing, and providing guidance and on-the-job training of trainees and assistants in accordance with applicable codes, regulations, procedures, and the company's written practice.

Qualifications:

Required:
  • Current or previously certified in RT, MT, PT or UTT in accordance with SNT-TC-1A practice.
  • Valid State Radiographers card or IRRSP card.
  • Fluent in manual film processing.
  • Valid U.S. driver's license and able to pass Motor Vehicle History Evaluations.
  • Able to pass an FBI background verification in accordance with Company's Increased Controls program.
  • Required to pass Drug/Alcohol, Fit for Duty, and Ergonomic Testing policies/procedures.
  • Required to pass Level II testing methods upon hire to perform job duties.
  • High School Diploma, GED.
