Key Responsibilities of a Home Health Aide:

  • Assist clients with personal grooming, dressing, bathing, and other everyday activities
  • Deliver fundamental healthcare services, including monitoring vital signs and administering prescribed medications
  • Support clients with light cleaning and meal preparation
  • Coordinate transportation or provide travel assistance as required
  • Engage with caregivers, nursing staff, and family members to collect pertinent information
  • Observe and report on the health status of each client
  • Stay informed about home health aide protocols and participate in necessary training

Qualifications for the Position:

  • Previous experience in home healthcare is preferred
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • CPR Certification is required
  • A clear background check and references are necessary
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent personal hygiene and interpersonal skills
  • Basic understanding of housekeeping duties

Compensation:

$17.50 per hour (rate may vary based on client needs and weekly hours)
