The Wexner Medical Center is a premier tertiary care institution, with plans for a new hospital facility. The College of Medicine trains approximately 200 medical students annually, and the integrated Ob/Gyn residency program collaborates with a local medical system to train 11 residents each year. The surrounding metropolitan area is a vibrant community.
Key Responsibilities
Faculty members in the General Division will oversee resident continuity clinics, manage the gynecology teaching service, and provide in-hospital gynecologic consultations. Additionally, they will play an active role in medical student education. The current faculty comprises specialists in minimally invasive surgery, with additional expertise in family planning, vulvar disease, menopause, pediatric and adolescent gynecology, and breastfeeding.
Qualifications
- MD or DO or equivalent degree
- Completion of an accredited residency training program
- Current DEA registration
- Board eligible or certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Fellowship in Surgical Critical Care
- Eligibility for licensure in the State of Ohio
