Job Overview:
Soliant Education is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented School Psychologist for an onsite role in Morgan Hill, CA. This position involves working within a single elementary school, managing a caseload of approximately 30-40 assessments annually. The primary duties include conducting psychoeducational evaluations, ERMHS, and SCIA assessments, along with formulating Behavior Intervention Plans. Please note that this role does not encompass direct counseling responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial and triennial psychoeducational evaluations for students.
- Administer ERMHS (Early Mental Health Services) and SCIA (Social-Emotional and Cognitive Intervention Assessment) assessments.
- Design and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) tailored to students' behavioral requirements.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other school personnel to address student needs and enhance educational outcomes.
- Provide expert recommendations based on assessment findings and assist in developing educational strategies.
- Maintain precise and comprehensive records of assessments, recommendations, and student progress.
- Participate in and contribute to IEP meetings and other relevant school discussions.
Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist license in California.
- Experience in conducting psychoeducational evaluations and creating Behavior Intervention Plans.
- Strong knowledge of ERMHS and SCIA assessments.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- Capability to work independently and effectively manage a caseload.
- Prior experience in an elementary school environment is preferred.
