Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Solidworks Drafter to join our team at Cummins Aerospace. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for creating 3D CAD models and detailed 2D drawings for our aerospace products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop 3D CAD models and 2D drawings using Solidworks
  • Generate 3D models from 2D drawings
  • Validate generated models and drawings
  • Apply GD&T principles
  • Work on complex geometries and 3D surfacing
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to support shop production requirements

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience with Solidworks
  • 2+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
