Seeking a qualified Speech Pathologist to join our team at Multilingual Therapy Associates, Inc.

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to work with preschool and school-age populations in the New York metropolitan area. As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating students with communication disorders, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with teachers and other professionals to ensure effective communication and learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' communication skills, including speech, language, and cognitive abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address specific communication goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure effective communication and learning outcomes
  • Provide therapy sessions to students with a range of communication disorders, including apraxia, stuttering, and autism spectrum disorder
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents and educators
Requirements:
  • A master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • New York State licensure or eligibility for licensure
  • Experience working with preschool and school-age populations, preferably in a public or private school setting
  • Strong assessment and treatment planning skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people, including students, parents, teachers, and other professionals
