Dermatopathologist Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Dermatopathologist to join our team at Quest Diagnostics. As a Dermatopathologist, you will be responsible for interpreting tissue biopsies, resections, and frozen sections to provide accurate and timely diagnoses of skin diseases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret tissue specimens to diagnose skin diseases
• Provide accurate and timely diagnoses
• Collaborate with other physicians as needed
• Recommend clinically appropriate advanced diagnostic testing
• Assign CPT and ICD-9 codes for services provided and diagnoses rendered
• Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure quality care
• Stay up-to-date with Continuing Medical Education to maintain licensure/credentials

Requirements:

• Doctorate degree in Dermatology or related field
• Active privileges in a facility where inpatient work is interpreted
• Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state where practice is located or eligibility to obtain licensure
