Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Diagnosis: Collect and analyze patient health data to determine nursing diagnoses and develop individualized care plans.
- Outcome Identification and Planning: Identify expected outcomes and develop plans of care that prescribe interventions to achieve those outcomes.
- Implementation and Evaluation: Implement interventions and evaluate patient progress toward attainment of expected outcomes.
- Quality of Care and Performance Appraisal: Systematically evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice and evaluate your own nursing practice in relation to professional practice standards.
- Education and Collegiality: Acquire and maintain current knowledge in nursing practice and contribute to the professional development of peers and colleagues.
- Education and Experience: Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program and have a minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency nursing.
- Certification and Licensure: Licensed as a Registered Nurse with one unrestricted state license and certification in emergency nursing preferred.
