**The Ideal Candidate:**
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Nurse Leader to join our team at Virginia Jobs. As a Clinical Nurse Leader, you will play a critical role in supporting nursing professional practice through professional development, evidence-based practice, and unit-based quality improvement for one or more microsystems.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in quality improvement and evidence-based practices, with excellent leadership and communication skills. A Master's or doctoral degree in Nursing, 2 years of experience as a registered nurse working in a relevant practice area, VA nursing license, and CNL certification are also required.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Develop and Evaluate Clinical Processes: Create, implement, and evaluate clinical processes and programs that engage nurses in lifelong learning to maintain competencies and learn new skills.
- Prioritize Unit-Based Triggers: Identify and prioritize unit-based triggers that would benefit from an evidence-based approach to problem solving and practice change.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with UBLs, unit nurses, and other stakeholders to achieve quality and safety goals.
- Lead Quality Improvement Efforts: Collaborate with the UBL team to proactively and reactively address quality and safety concerns on the unit.
Estimated Salary Range: $89,523.20 - $143,228.80 per year
