Culinary Cook Position at Walters Hospitality

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Cook to join our team at Walters Hospitality. As a Catering Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food according to recipes, transporting food and equipment to venues for events, and maintaining proper sanitation and cleanliness at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes
  • Transport food and equipment to venues for events
  • Plate and present food to meet standards
  • Oversee the kitchen food service during events
  • Maintain proper sanitation and cleanliness at all times
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent, culinary degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of successful culinary experience
  • Serve Safe or Food Handlers certification
  • Able to lift 30 lbs frequently, stand/walk 8-12 hours
  • Submit to a background and drug test, have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
