At Oak View Group, we are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for managing the kitchen's daily activities, ensuring guest satisfaction, profitability, and a positive work environment.
Responsibilities:- Manage Kitchen Operations: Supervise and coordinate the preparation and presentation of food, ensuring quality, consistency, and style.
- Lead the Culinary Team: Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff to achieve company-qualified standards.
- Control Food Costs: Implement effective measures to achieve budgeted food percentages, including portion controls, kitchen timings, and inventory management.
- Ensure Compliance: Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation policies, and employee relations regulations.
- Develop and Implement Menus: Create menus that meet Oak View Group's standards of quality and consistency, ensuring a positive and compliant work environment.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of kitchen management experience in a full-service restaurant or events venue.
- Skills: Technical proficiency in food preparation methods, computer software, and employee scheduling.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certifications: Current Food Handler's card and alcohol service permit (if required by state or local government).
