Job Overview

Protection Strategies Inc (PSI) is a leading force in security and defense solutions, dedicated to safeguarding clients' interests with unwavering integrity and innovation.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Security Police Officer to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for protecting DOE property and assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Observe and report activities and incidents at assigned client sites.
  • Provide security and safety of client property.
  • Prepare logs and reports daily.
  • Preserve order and enforce regulations and directives in accordance with company policies.
  • Make continuous foot patrols of client property and stand in a conspicuous area when not patrolling.
  • Perform responsibilities as an Alarm System Operator.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Active 'L' Security clearance or equivalent.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to complete an extensive pre-employment medical evaluation and physical agility test.
  • Ability to pass initial and annual physical fitness run test and 40-yard dash test.
  • Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read and follow written directives.
  • Ability to work long shift hours, including day and night shifts, holidays, and weekends.
  • US citizenship and age 21 or older.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior military or police experience.
