Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented EVS Assistant to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As an EVS Assistant, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and disinfect patient care areas, including rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
  • Empty trash and recyclables, and replace liners in trash receptacles.
  • Restock supplies, including paper products, soap, and toilet paper.
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners and floor buffers.
  • Assist with special projects, such as deep cleaning and event preparation.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or cleaning environment preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and push/pull carts and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
