Responsibilities
  • Diagnostic Imaging Procedures: Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  • Patient Care: Provide exceptional patient care and ensure that patients are comfortable and informed throughout the imaging process.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including X-ray machines, CT scanners, and MRI machines.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all imaging procedures are performed in accordance with established quality control standards.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that imaging results are accurately reported and interpreted.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year of recent experience in a diagnostic imaging setting.
  • Certifications: AHA BLS certification and ARRT (with Nuc Med specialty) or NMTCB certification.
  • Skills: Epic experience, ability to float to less or like specialties, and experience with GE, Hitachi, Phillips, Siemens, or Toshiba equipment.

As a Per Diem Radiologic Technologist at Providence Saint John's Health Center, you will work in a fast-paced diagnostic imaging department, providing care to patients in a variety of settings, including outpatient, inpatient, and emergency departments.
