Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Dentist (Endodontics) to join our team at the Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration. As a Dentist (Endodontics), you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, including endodontic services such as root canals and other specialized procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive dental care to patients, including routine cleanings, fillings, and extractions.
  • Perform endodontic procedures, including root canals, apicoectomies, and other specialized treatments.
  • Diagnose and treat dental conditions, including gum disease, tooth decay, and other oral health issues.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest dental techniques and technologies to ensure the highest level of care for patients.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
  • Current licensure to practice dentistry in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
  • Completion of a residency program in endodontics.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with patients and other healthcare professionals.
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks effectively. The Dentist (Endodontics) will be required to work in a clinical setting and to interact with patients and other healthcare professionals on a regular basis.
