Position Summary

The primary role involves operating company vehicles to transport and deliver finished products to various job sites, ensuring that materials are unloaded in accordance with customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Familiarize yourself with company offerings, operational protocols, and customer service standards.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Accurately load vehicles based on sales orders.
  • Ensure proper organization and security of materials during transport.
  • Verify load accuracy with the yard manager before departure.
  • Deliver and unload materials at customer locations.
  • Adhere to delivery schedules and directions.
  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards.
  • Document delivery details on sales invoices and communicate customer messages as needed.
  • Operate trucks and forklifts safely, following all traffic regulations and safety protocols.
  • Comply with all loading, delivery, and yard security procedures.
  • Utilize digital tools for tasks such as uploading images and managing electronic logs.
  • Engage with customers to address any delivery-related issues.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the yard and assigned areas.
  • Adhere to all CDL regulations as mandated by the Department of Transportation.
  • Possess the capability to transport oversized loads.
Qualifications
  • A strong desire for professional growth and development.
  • Ability to respond swiftly and accurately to challenges.
  • Physical stamina to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Proficiency in operating a computer and related software.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Class A driver's license with Manual Endorsement, along with current automobile insurance and a clean driving record.
  • Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, and crouch as required.
