This role is integral to our Leadership Team, where you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, setting strategic goals, and implementing initiatives that drive our firm forward.
As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will significantly influence the financial strategy and trajectory of our organization. Reporting directly to the Integrator (Managing Partner), you will be a vital member of the leadership team, contributing to high-level decision-making and offering strategic financial insights to foster business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Strategy and Planning:
- Formulate and implement financial strategies that align with the firm’s objectives.
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, providing insights and recommendations to enhance financial performance.
- Assess and drive financial planning initiatives to support sustainable long-term growth.
- Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Supervise the preparation and presentation of precise and timely financial reports, including monthly and annual statements.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, presenting findings to the Leadership Team.
- Monitor key financial metrics to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Assist in annual tax provision calculations to support tax partner liaisons.
- Risk Management and Compliance:
- Establish and maintain effective internal controls and financial policies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Oversee the firm’s insurance and risk management related to malpractice and general business policies.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and mentor a dedicated finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Provide coaching and development opportunities to enhance the skills of the finance team.
- Strategic Partnerships:
- Collaborate with other leadership team members to align financial objectives with overall business strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to support business growth initiatives.
- Manage banking relationships and oversee treasury functions.
- Participate in discussions regarding potential mergers and acquisitions.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Demonstrated success in senior financial leadership roles, ideally within the professional services sector.
- Strong grasp of financial principles and regulations, with the ability to apply strategic thinking.
- Excellent analytical skills, capable of interpreting complex financial data and communicating insights effectively.
- Proven leadership and team-building skills, focused on developing talent and achieving high-performance results.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, able to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
