Course Offerings

The College of Business is seeking adjunct faculty to teach the following courses:

  • Introduction to Business
  • Organization & Management
  • Business Ethics
  • Financial Management

Specific courses may change depending on the needs of the university.

Responsibilities

As an adjunct faculty member, you will be responsible for:

  • Teaching courses in the fall and/or spring semesters in business and management in a classroom setting
  • Assisting and supporting students beyond the classroom by holding regular or virtual office hours as needed
  • Working collegially with other faculty in the area to develop and use common syllabi, course materials, and assessment methods
  • Using instructional technology, especially the Canvas LMS, Husson G-Suite applications, and the efaculty portal
  • Assessing and reporting student performance
Qualifications

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have:

  • An earned Master's Degree in business or a related field is required; Ph.D. preferred
  • Successful teaching experience at the college level preferred
  • Demonstrated dedication to improving classroom teaching, exploring new methods, and adapting to student needs
  • Demonstrated ability to work well as a part of a team
Compensation

Compensation for this opportunity will be based on the number of students enrolled in the course assigned. The maximum hourly rate for undergraduate courses is $933.33, and for graduate courses, it is $1,100.00.
