Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team at Insight Global. As a key member of our organization, you will serve as a product subject matter expert and liaison between our IT organization and business partners in support of revenue cycle operations applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Elicit and document business, user, functional, and non-functional requirements
  • Analyze current or potential business processes and review existing information systems to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Design and implement reports, maps/flowcharts, and screen layouts to improve business processes and workflow
  • Support operational applications within the business and other IT areas by providing status and recommending solutions
  • Assist management in prioritization of work efforts/tasks and ensuring risks/issues are communicated appropriately
  • Identify impact to other solutions or projects, and work with other Business Analysts, Product Analysts, and/or stakeholders to identify options and recommendations
  • Provide operational support (Tier 2) for applications, supporting the business and other IT areas by providing status and recommending solutions where there are system issues and coordinating resolution of issues with CSS and development
Requirements
  • 7+ years' experience as a Senior Product Analyst/Technical Business Analyst working with the business and IT development teams
  • Healthcare/Hospital IT experience (RCM application type projects - Healthcare RCM, Revenue Integrity, Hospital Revenue, Billing preferred)
  • Experience collaborating with developers to build an enterprise-wide application/product from the ground up, including gathering and defining requirements for the application/product from start to finish
  • Experience working on large enterprise-wide projects across multiple lines of business (preferably in Healthcare IT RCM application projects, including Healthcare RCM, Revenue Integrity, Hospital Revenue, and Billing)
  • Proficiency with Excel or other reporting tools, along with strong analytical skills
  • Full understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
  • Experience working in an agile environment
