Critical Illness Care Provider

We're searching for a dedicated Critical Illness Care Provider for an immediate travel nurse opening in Cleveland, OH. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of recent acute care experience and be certified in BLS, CHEMO, ACLS.
In this critical role, you'll work closely with healthcare professionals to provide life-saving care for critically or chronically ill cancer patients. Your responsibilities may include administering chemotherapy, implementing new methods of symptom treatment, and monitoring patients' progress.
A key aspect of this position is creating a supportive care environment, which involves educating cancer patients about treatment options and procedures. This includes tasks such as:
- Coordinating treatment plans with healthcare teams.
- Providing patient education and treatment tracking.
- Serving as a source of comfort and support for cancer patients and their families.
- Managing multiple priorities while working under pressure.
- Implementing best practice treatment protocols in various settings.
This position requires physical stamina, including standing and walking for long periods, bending, leaning, and stooping without difficulty. Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds may be required, and you may face hazards from exposure to chemicals and infectious diseases.
