Job Description

At Plumber For Hire LLC, we seek a Professional Pipe Fitter to help us deliver top-notch plumbing services.

The selected candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fittings, and fixtures for heating, water, and drainage systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assess the structure to identify potential issues that may arise from pipe installation.
  • Determine the precise location and mark the position of pipes and connections.
  • Cut openings in walls and floors as necessary to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings.
  • Cut and thread pipes according to specifications.
  • Bend pipes to achieve the required angle.
  • Assemble and install valves, pipe fittings, and pipes.
  • Join pipes using various methods, including screws, bolts, fittings, solder, plastic solvent, and caulk.
  • Flood the pipe system with water or air and check pressure gauges for leaks.
  • Install and repair plumbing fixtures.
  • Repair and maintain plumbing by replacing faulty washers, fixing pipes, and unclogging drains.

Salary Estimate: $75,000 - $95,000 per year

Essential Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or trade school education
  • Appropriate certifications and/or licensures with 3-5 years of related experience
  • Ability to handle physically demanding tasks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
