Job SummaryThis is a great opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Companion Animal Doctor to work with a successful and well-known veterinarian in a beautiful coastal area.
Responsibilities- Perform medical examinations on small companion animals (mostly dogs and cats)
- Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries
- Administer vaccinations and medications
- Perform surgeries and dental services (preferred but not required)
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other staff members
- Required Skills: animal restraint techniques, laboratory procedures, veterinary medicine knowledge, understanding of veterinary terminology
- Nice-to-Have Skills: animal catheterization proficiency, dog handling skills, animal husbandry knowledge
