AdeIphi MedicaI Staffing is seeking a skilled Gastroenterology physician to provide clinical coverage at a facility in Missouri. As a gastroenterologist with our company, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced healthcare professionals and provide high-quality patient care.
Job Responsibilities- Attend to approximately 8-10 patients per half day
- Provide comprehensive Gastroenterology care, including clinical services and procedures such as EGD, Colonoscopy, Endoscopic Ultrasound, and ERCP.
- Perform emergent procedures including GI bleeding, food boluses, foreign bodies, abdominal pain
- Offer consultative services to patients at the clinic
- Notify patients of their test results promptly.
- Deliver discharge education and follow-up instructions, coordinating with the next care setting for Gastroenterology patients.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement activities and attend committee meetings as required by the facility's Chief of Service, Chief of Staff, or their designee.
- Strive to prevent medication errors, falls, and patient injuries during care delivery.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned.
