- Registration and Scheduling: Collect and enter patient information accurately and securely into our electronic health record system, and schedule appointments across various care modalities.
- Insurance and Billing: Verify insurance eligibility, obtain benefit details, and facilitate insurance authorizations for services.
- Financial Support: Assess patients' financial status and refer to financial support programs and benefit enrollment specialists as needed.
- Communication: Support outreach to patients about upcoming appointments and needed care, and follow up on incoming messages and requests.
- Payment and Collections: Collect payments, co-pays, and accurately apply payments to patient accounts.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve workflows, identify gaps, and enhance patient experience.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: 1 year experience in a medical, dental, or customer service setting preferred.
- Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with computers and electronic health record systems.
- Language: Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
