Job Summary:
The Cobb County School District is seeking a highly motivated and experienced ASP Assistant Instructor to join our team. As a Classified ASP Instructor, you will be responsible for providing instruction and supervision of planned activities for our ASP students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate prompt and regular attendance.
- Instruct and supervise daily planned activities for the students.
- Manage student behavior for assigned students.
- Maintain accurate records when working the sign out desk.
- Follow daily time schedule as assigned by the ASP Director.
- Know and follow site safety procedures.
- Attend and participate in ASP staff meetings and required training sessions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by appropriate administrator.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must be certified in CPR and First Aid.
- No experience required.
- Routine physical activities that are required to fulfill job responsibilities.
- Oral and written communication, instructional strategies that connect the curriculum to the learners, student management, knowledge of site safety procedures.
Working Conditions:
This is a temporary position with a shift start time of 2:00 PM and a shift end time of 6:00 PM. The job category is After School Program.
